Newsflash - An exciting opportunity has arisen within our EPR Team!

We are looking for an outstanding Commissioning and Performance Co-ordinator. This is a hugely exciting opportunity to play a major role in the Trust's implementation of its new Electronic Patient Record (EPR). This challenging programme is the largest clinical system transformation programme the Trust has undertaken and is key to the Trust's Strategy to fundamentally transform .

This is a part time post working 29 hours per week on a 10 month Fixed Term.

Main duties of the job

The role of the Commissioning and Performance Co-ordinator is to provide an expert support function to the Commissioning and Performance team, including:

To support in the development and management of healthcare contracts.

To work closely with the Care Groups to identify and scope relevant commissioning and performance issues.

To assist in the production of various routine and ad-hoc reports in the respect of the commissioning and performance team

To provide support to the commissioning team to ensure all contractual requirements are met, particularly regarding Specialist Services Quality Dashboard (SSQD) and Community Service Sitrep submissions and quality metrics.

To provide a key role in monitoring performance in a number of areas, including income opportunities and overall demand and capacity.

To work with clinical, management and administrative teams to support how they work in the future whilst delivering on national and local expectations

  • 5 GCSE grade C or above or equivalent, including Mathematics and English
  • Degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in health-related management, or equivalent skills, training and experience in business management/administration

Experience

  • Experience of or has a good understanding of the regulatory environment, particularly the requirements of the NHS Standard contracts and the relevant performance requirements.
  • Experience of dealing with highly complex information
  • Evidence of success in efficient and effective project and task management
  • Evidence of success in roles requiring ability to work on and progress a range of complex issues simultaneously
  • Experience in contract and performance management, project management or supporting change management processes
  • Experience of providing advice and informal training.
  • Experience of successfully liaising with people at all levels

  • Previous supervisory experience within a hospital setting.
