Job summary

To be part of the Financial Accounting section. Your core role will be to raise invoices for goods and services provided by the Trust to patients and to NHS and non-NHS bodies; Credit Control of overdue accounts and due payment of invoices raised to account accurately for the income received within the Trust's financial system. Investigating enquiries from debtors and internal budget holders, investigating problematic accounts, and providing assistance and advice as required. Qualifications

Essential

  • Good, general education, minimum of 5 GCSE's including Maths and English. Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Level 4 or equivalent

Experience

Essential

  • Experience of IT based routine work tasks. Liaising with customers and a proven professional manner, via email and over the telephone Experience within a finance setting of leading a team and managing staff

Desirable

  • Leading an Accounts Receivable / credit control team
