People and OD Partner - Supporting Medical Staff

Job summary

This is an exciting time to join the People Experience Team. We have an opportunity for an HR professional to join the team to specifically to support on medical staffing workforce and ER matters.

Reporting to the Senior People Partner and working with the Medical Director's Office you will lead on and be responsible for the provision of employment advice, guidance and support in employment and performance matters for medical staffing ensuring that policies, procedure, and professional standards are maintained. You will also play an important role in the implementation of excellence awards for consultants and will be expected to be involved in preparing policies and project work linked to medical staff working in the Trust. You will be part of the People Partner team and will be working in collaboration with the team on other HR generalist projects.

Working hand in hand with the Senior People Partner you will need to have a continuous improvement mindset and ensuring that evidence based best practice is delivered in line with national, organisational and local standards, policies and procedures.

Essential criteria for this post is significant HR generalist experience, proven success in managing complex ER matters, delivery of projects and ideally the successful applicant will have experience of working with medical staff terms and conditions of employment.

Main duties of the job

In this vital role, you will lead on people priorities and OD in the Care Group - providing expert advice and direction on people/workforce planning/employment law issues to inform business planning.

You will play a key role in the delivery of workforce solutions, interventions and actions and will work collaboratively with leaders from within the Care Group and wider Trust. Providing expert Human Resources leadership, you will be partnering and coaching senior leaders to effectively transform services and enable the delivery of exceptional clinical services.
