Job summary

An exciting opportunity has become available in our Hospital Social Work Department. We are looking for an enthusiastic person with a flexible approach to join our Social Work Administration Team as an Administration Assistant. The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE level A-C supported by an RSA 2 equivalent qualification and/or proven admin experience. Main duties of the job

The post is part-time at 18.75 hours per week. You will be providing administrative support to the Hospital Social Work Team to make sure the service runs smoothly and effectively whilst facilitating hospital discharges. Excellent communication skills are desirable as you will be dealing with telephone calls from health and social care professionals, outside agencies, patients and their families. Other duties include scanning, data input onto Liquid Logic and V6 computer systems and dealing with incoming and outgoing emails
