Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Healthcare Assistants to join our team across the Urology Treatment Centre and Durham Treatment Centre. In this integral role, you will work closely with the nursing team to provide high standards of patient care delivery and contribute to the smooth running of clinics in the department.
The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility and commitment.
The post holder will promote the positive image of the clinical area, and you will gain the opportunity to develop skills such as venepuncture and catheterisation.
Full and part time posts are available.

Main duties of the job
To support our patients accessing the Urology Service.
To work as part of a wider team across the Urology Treatment Centre and Durham Treatment Centre.
To undertake nurse led flow rate clinics independently.
To undertake venepuncture and catheterisation.
