Job summary
Applications are invited for post of Senior Clinical Fellow with a
special interest in Epilepsy. This post is full time. South Tyneside and
Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit a motivated and
passionate Doctor with experience and training in neurodisability/development .
The post is a fixed term for up to 12 months. The paediatric department
provides population-based services across South Tyneside and Sunderland and
work very closely with our multidisciplinary teams, special schools and health
centres helping to bring services to the community as well as hospital-based
services. Applicants will be expected to have relevant experience and
preferably training appropriate to be able to meet service needs. Enquiries or

Main duties of the job
This
post will have a key focus on the care of children with epilepsy. You will also
provide services to children who are referred to our neurodisability service.
The
department has a strong commitment to service development and teaching and
applicants with shared enthusiasm for these areas are encouraged. Our team has
a broad range of expertise. If you have an interest in delivering high quality
paediatric care and being in a supportive environment to further develop your career,
