Job summary
We
are looking for Research Nurse to support and deliver clinical research mainly
within cardiology. The individual should
be highly motivated, enthusiastic and capable of contributing to the
development of research within our midwifery research team.
If
you are committed to providing high-quality care to patients and helping them
to make the right decisions about their treatment options, with the skills to
guide and advise them throughout their research journey, this role could be for
you.
You
will be instrumental in implementing study objectives and will provide
dedicated support to ensure that the study is delivered to time and target.
You
will be educated to degree level; you will have post-registration experience of
working in a clinical environment.
Main duties of the job
As a Research Nurse you will be responsible for the
recruitment, education, monitoring and follow up of clinical trial patients and
the collection and documentation of accurate data. You will also be responsible for all aspects
of trial co-ordination from feasibility to close out.
Post holder will
contribute to the development of evidence-based practice and the body of
professional knowledge.
