Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the
Information Services team for a Data Analyst to support the organisation with
the development of reporting of high quality and timely information both
internally and externally to support operational needs. We are looking for someone who has experience
of data extraction, analysis and visualisation techniques, with strong customer
service and communication skills. This is a challenging but rewarding
opportunity to join a team that works across a wide range of departments
throughout the Trust and in turn to work collaboratively with a broad variety
of staff at all levels. As well as experience of working with data,
together with good spreadsheet and administrative skills, the post holder must
be able to work on their own initiative and manage/prioritise their workload in
order to achieve deadlines.
Main duties of the job
To provide an efficient,
effective and timely reporting, data processing and visualisation service to
facilitate organisational decision making and business strategy development.
Provision of information
in the form of reports, mandated submissions/statutory return formats, dashboards
and datasets, as appropriate, which meets the requirements of service users both
internally and externally.
To support the
development and promotion of the Trusts data warehouse in all areas including:
operational data flows and dashboard data flows, as required, achieved through effective
design, documentation, communication, development, implementation, processing and
maintenance of requirements relevant to specific reporting areas.
To optimise the use of
technology within service provision.
