Are you an exceptional, values driven senior nurse
leader ready to shape the future of patient care across our Trust? We are
seeking an outstanding Executive Director of Nursing, Midwifery and
Allied Health Professionals (NMAHPs) to join our
Board of Directors and lead our organisation in delivering compassionate, safe
and high quality care for our communities.
As an ambassador for NMAHPs the post
holder will ensure that professional contributions of nurses, midwives and
allied health professionals enable the Trust to meet business and strategic
goals in accordance with professional standards.
We
are looking for an experienced, compassionate and inclusive leader who embodies
our values and inspires confidence. You
will have substantial relevant experience as a senior nurse with Board level
experience, plus first-level NMC registration (nurse or midwife) and have a
Masters degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.
You will have demonstratable experience of
developing relationships into productive partnerships, with the ability to shape
and influence across organisational boundaries.
An in depth understanding of NHS policy and standards, current health
issues and best practice within NMAHP is essential. You will be committed to promoting equality,
reducing health inequalities, and fostering a culture where staff feel valued,
supported and empowered.
Interviews are expected to take place end of March - early April over a 2 day period.
Main duties of the job
As a key member of the Board, you will provide strategic leadership,
professional oversight and visible advocacy for all Nursing, Midwifery and
Allied Health Professional services. You will play a central role in shaping
organisational culture, driving improvement, and ensuring the highest standards
of clinical care, safety and experience.
The Executive Director is the lead for
the Safeguarding of Childrens and Adults services across the Trust, risk
management, professional lead of maternity, nominated individual for CQC and
has joint responsibility with the Executive Medical Director for Clinical
Governance.
As the most senior lead for the NMAHP
agenda, the post holder will provide assurance to the Board of Directors that
NMAHP standards are reviewed on an ongoing basis to meet the demands of
patients.
As
our most senior NMAHP leader, you will:

clinical services and management are responsive to the needs of our patients

Develop and implement strategy for NMAHPs

Lead patient experience, including the complaints process,
volunteers and chaplaincy services
