Job summary

We are seeking to recruit a part time enthusiastic health care assistant to work 29 hours per week in the District Nursing Teams based at Clarendon.

The post-holder will be required to provide nursing care to clients in Health Centres, G.P. Surgeries and in clients own homes over a seven day period including bank holidays.

Must have recent experience working in a nursing environment, educated to NVQ level 3 and have a driving licence with access to a car.

Main duties of the job

To support the registered members of the District Nursing Team in providing treatments and interventions, following agreed protocols in patients at home or in care settings and clinics. For example, administration of insulin, simple wound dressings, diagnostic testing, phlebotomy. Working independently undertaking tasks delegated by a registered nurse.
