develops wellbeing initiatives for the service. You will deliver interventions as
part of Talking Therapies and will have experience of providing psychological
therapies in primary care. You will be expected to use traditional and
innovative treatment methods using NICE Low Intensity Treatment interventions
such as Low Intensity CBT.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be expected to deliver interventions in a developing primary care setting and play a full part in the effective development and operation of the whole of the service. Regular supervision is an important aspect of the work of the service. You must have:
- A post graduate certificate in low intensity therapy or evidence of passing the post graduate low intensity training.
- Be
registered with the BABCP.
- Experience of working to support the mental health needs of adults in primary care.
- Comprehensive mental health assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Skills in the delivery of relevant therapeutic interventions.
- Ability to offer advice to a broad range of professionals and work co-operatively to deliver joint interventions with a range of providers.
