Therapies service and among the highest performing Talking Therapies services
at both regional and national level.
There is recognition that staff can realise their potential through
effective clinical and management supervision, managerial support, and through
access to internal and external training. Staff development and their wellbeing

Strategy Group which develops wellbeing initiatives for the service. You will deliver
interventions as part of Talking Therapies and will have experience of
providing psychological therapies in primary care. You will be expected to use
traditional and innovative treatment methods using NICE High Intensity CBT
Treatment.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidates will be expected to deliver interventions in a developing primary care setting and play a full part in the effective development and operation of the whole of the service. Regular supervision is an important aspect of the work of the service.
The High Intensity Therapist will be expected to have:
- A post graduate qualification or degree in CBT or Cognitive Therapies.
- Experience of working to support the mental health needs of adults in primary care.
- Comprehensive mental health assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Skills in the delivery of relevant therapeutic interventions.
- Ability to offer consultation and advice to a broad range of professionals and work co-operatively to deliver joint interventions with a range of providers.
