CT and MRI Service Manager

Job summary

To take responsibility for the leadership, management, development and co-ordination of the CT and MRI Services at the Trust. Work closely with the Clinical Leads for each service and ensure delivery of responsive, high quality and efficient services within the resources available without compromising the quality of care. Work closely with the Head/Deputy Head of Imaging Services and Clinical Director to ensure that Corporate and Directorate objectives are met.

Main duties of the job

To be responsible for the delivery and strategic development of the CT and MRI services for the TrustTo provide strong and effective leadership, setting direction and delivering excellent service results, acting as arole model for all departmental staff in line with the Trust values.Manage all Human Resources issues within area of remit

  • Significant experience as a Senior Manager within Radiology
  • Significant demonstrable experience of delivering end to end change in a service or function with scale and complexity
  • Leading multiple teams/ leading individuals that manage complex service areas
  • Significant demonstrable experience of successfully managing budgets such as budget setting, monitoring and actively managing variation whilst carrying the weight of the responsibility of providing a quality service to patients

  • Project Management experience

  • BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography
  • Senior Leadership / Management Qualification or significant demonstrable experience
  • Master level qualification in Radiology related module or extensive and highly specialised knowledge/experience
