Main duties of the job

To manage and coordinate non-clinical duties by managing patient flow through the Parkinson's service, following specific pathways and processes, whilst ensuring that local Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met. To be responsible for ensuring a professional, efficient comprehensive support service for the Parkinson's Clinical Practitioners enabling the smooth and efficient performance of their clinical and administrative duties. Ensure that the service provided to People with Parkinson's (PwP) is robust and service delivery optimised in terms of safety, quality, efficiency, effectiveness and equity

Qualifications

Essential

  • Literacy and Numeracy to the equivalent of GCSE grade C/4 or Functional Skills Level 2 Vocational level 3 qualification such as Business Administration or equivalent level of experience

Desirable

  • Certificate in supervision or management

Technical Skills Competencies

  • Ability to effectively organise and prioritise own workload and ensure deadlines are met without supervision
  • Excellent customer care skills

Experience

  • Minimum of two years' experience in an administrative role within a health or social care setting
  • Experience of using a large range of IT software packages including Microsoft 365
