We're looking for an experienced registered pharmacy technician or are you near the end of your training programme and we would be interested in any trainee even if you have no previous hospital or aseptic experience.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join our Pharmacy Aseptic Team.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, dynamic and self-motivated professional to join our aseptic team at University Hospitals Dorset .

You will be part of a team consisting of Pharmacists, Technicians and Assistants, who are always striving for excellence in all aspects of our work. We are working collaboratively as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team to ensure we always deliver outstanding care to our patients.

This is an exciting time to join the Hospital Aseptic Department. Our service is built around providing a high-quality service to our patients and staff of the Trust.

You will be required to work on the earlies/lates, weekends and bank holiday on a rotational format.

Main duties of the job

The Job Description outlines the roles of the Senior Aseptic Services Technician. You will work closely with and support the Lead and Deputy Lead Technician in the day to day running of the Technical Services aseptic suite, providing a quality led GMP compliant service, supplying aseptically prepared medicines to cancer patients including clinical trials and immunotherapy, in a timely manner to all service users. You will act as a supervisor under the direction of the Deputy Lead Technician in the aseptic suite or its support areas and to line manage and act as a role model for junior members of staff.
