Endoscopy is a constantly evolving area delivering a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopyThis is a varied role providing individual patient care for both out and in-patients. The successful applicant will ideally have a minimum of 12 months experience in an acute setting.Whilst previous endoscopy experience may be advantageous it is not essential as we provide training and competency assessment.
To provide, specialist nursing expertise, facilitating evidence-based patient-centred care and assessment for a defined caseload of pre-assessment patients. This role requires someone who is organised with excellent communication skills and is confident with liaising with multi-disciplinary teams.
To co-ordinate patients throughout their pre-assessment pathway, with a high level of input into the management and care of patients prior to admission for specified procedures.
This role requires an active UK NMC Registration
Base Location: Bournemouth , working cross site
