Accommodation Administrator

Job summary

The post holder will be responsible for providing administrative duties within the UHD Residences team including reservations, financial processes and maintenance functions as well as the provision of administrative support to the Accommodation Manager.

Base Location: Poole and Bournemouth Hospital

Main duties of the job

To answer telephone calls, emails and face to face enquiries from tenants, contractors and

visitors.

Give advice and information regarding accommodation options, our booking application

process and general accommodation support.

Providing administration support for the UHD Residences team and Accommodation Manager.

To have full understanding of our reservations process from applications, tenancy agreements,

Right to Rent, accommodation costs, key packs to check-in.

To be able to assist with general enquiries received from customers; keeping update on current

procedures.

Carry out accompanied viewings with potential residents.

Carry out estate inspections where required with maintenance and housekeeping teams.

To undertake any other tasks and duties reasonably requested, in line with the level of

responsibility for the post and in order to meet the changing needs of the service.

To take debit/credit card and cash payments for accommodation charges and other services

UHD are investing, developing and transforming Trust services in line with the New Hospital Programme. As part of this, some services may move site this year or next, either temporarily or permanently. Recruiting Managers will be happy to answer any service-specific questions at interview.

If a role or service relocates as part of a planned move, excess mileage will not be reimbursed. Travel from home to the new work base will be classed as a normal commute. Any other changes will be managed under Trust or national terms and conditions.
