Job summary
This busy purpose built Haematology/Oncology Day Unit is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated and compassionate individual with good organisational and communication skills, to compliment the existing team.The Day Care unit is comprised of 14chair treatment area, 3 bedded acute oncology review bay, a private patient room, procedure room, alternative therapy suite and many clinic rooms. The day unit is very busy seeing approx 250 patients per week.The unit's activities include the administration of chemotherapy, supportive care and blood transfusion, Training would be provided for chemotherapy administration.

Main duties of the job
We have a part time post of 28.5 hrs per week post for staff nurse in the Haematology and Oncology Day Unit which operates shifts of 8-6pm Monday - Friday,We actively support professional development through provision of places on National Study Days/Conferences where appropriate. In addition we have a unit based Practice Educator to support our:Local induction programmeUniversity Accredited Chemotherapy CourseUniversity Accredited Haematology CourseIn-house education programme.* If you are interested in relocating to Bournemouth we offer an excellent relocation package of up to £13,000.
