Job summary
The requirement for this post is for a locum consultant radiologist with an interest in Breast radiology to contribute to the Breast screening service in Dorset.
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Locum Consultant Radiologist to work within the Radiology Directorate, part of the Specialities Care Group. The Radiology Department of the Trust will has a combined Radiologist workforce of 37 diagnostic Radiologists, with a range of subspecialty interests, working in collaboration with a further 7 Interventional Radiologists. The size of the directorate facilitates the development of a high degree of sub specialisation across the group.
The site of the post holder's activity will be across The Royal Bournemouth and Poole Hospital sites, with an expectation to be able to travel to either site, as clinical and Trust requirements dictate. An already unified Carestream PACS and Soliton RIS facilitate seamless cross site, remote and home reporting.

- Knowledge of the NHS plan / modernisation agenda and the implications for service development
