Job summary
Are you a qualified Enhanced Care Practitioner, currently under taking your ECP course or looking for a new exciting challenge?
We are looking for two dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to join the advanced practice nursing team to support the gastrointestinal surgical team with the management of both elective and emergency surgical patients.
You will need to demonstrate the necessary skills to deliver services to acute and elective gastrointestinal surgical patients.
The service is currently predominantly Monday-Friday however this may be extended to cover a 7 day service in the future.

This post is for 2 jobs. 1x 37.5hrs and 1x 30 hrs / week. Please specify in your supporting statement which one you are applying for.
If you are a qualified ECP, you will be offered a band 7 position at either full or part time as per your request if successful.
If you are currently a trainee ECP, we welcome your application. If you are successful we will offer you a band 6 position, and on completion of the course you will be upgraded to a band 7 as hospital policy.
For applicants who want to commence their career in advanced practice this post comes with funding for the PG Cert ECP Apprenticeship course. If successful you will be offered a band 6 tECP post. On completion of the course you will be upgraded to a band 7 as hospital policy.
