The Clinical Engineering Department is part of University Hospitals Dorset NHS Trust, responsible for the maintenance and repair of a diverse range of medical equipment for two general hospitals as well as many Healthcare facilities across Dorset. We have a vacancy for a Medical Devices Administrator based at The Royal Bournemouth Hospital:
- You are the first line of contact for all our customers, both over the phone and in person.
- You must be helpful, clear and consistent in presenting departmental policies.
- You will need to communicate effectively with a wide range of internal and external contacts on both administrative and technical matters
- You will need to appreciate the urgency of requests and understand when problems need to be escalated.
- You will need to be a good team player to ensure smooth function of the section.
- You will have a general administrative role, which will form a significant element of the job.
- You will work closely with our existing administration team and will have particular responsibility for the administration needs of our Bournemouth workshop.
Base Location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital
