Junior Clinical Fellow (ST 1-2 Level) in Emergency Medicine
University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust,Bournemouth Hospital site
This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Doctor working at the level of SHO to gain experience or more experience in Emergency Medicine.
There are 15 ED Consultants, Registrars and Middle Grades, SHO grade Drs, ACPs and ANPs.
The post holder will join the Emergency Department team and work on a rolling rota which includes day, evening and night shifts and there will always be a 24 hour Senior Doctor presence.
The rota includes 24 junior doctors.
Each post holder will have an Educational Supervisor and be provided with career advice as well as a study leave budget.
There is formal dedicated SHO and Registrar teaching every Wednesday which also includes simulation sessions and we encourage you to be involved in a quality improvement project.
Both posts come with a £600 study leave budget.

- OR Completed Clinical attachment in ED at least 1 month

- GMC Registration with Licence to Practice
- Completion of foundation training or equivalent
- Current certification in ALS
- Evidence of participation in evidence based medicine, e.g journal clubs and presentations.

- Postgraduate Royal College qualification
