Job summary
We are seeking to appoint a new Ultrasound Service Manager. The Radiology Ultrasound Service operates out of The Royal Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch Hospitals. We also have satellite CDC departments in the Dolphin Shopping Centre in Poole and on the campus at Health Sciences University.
University Hospitals Dorset is one of Britain's leading healthcare providers in the NHS. It was created in October 2020 by bringing together two Trusts: Poole Hospital and Royal Bournemouth & Christchurch Hospital.
The new Trust has a turnover of approximately £720m and employs over 9,000 members of staff.

Main duties of the job
The Radiology Ultrasound Service Manager will be accountable for the leadership, management, development and co-ordination of the ultrasound services across the East of Dorset. This includes Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch Hospital sites, along with the CDC sites. The successful applicant will ensure delivery of responsive, high quality and efficient services within the resources available without compromising the quality of care we provide to our patients.
