Job summary
This advert is to recruit a Locum Consultant Neurologist to join a Dorset-wide Neurology team. This posts will be primarily based at Poole Hospital and the successful candidate will work in partnership with our substantive consultant team running clinics across Poole, Bournemouth, Christchurch and Dorset County Hospitals. Together we deliver a full range of Neurology services to Dorset residents and parts of neighbouring counties. We work closely with MDTs of specialist nurses and therapists in different specialties within neurology. As well as this working closely without neurophysiology colleagues.
Main duties of the job
The main purpose of the post is to support the provision of highest quality patient care through personal actions and continuous improvement. The Appointee will undertake clinics at Poole hospital. There may be a requirement to cover the service at other sites as the post evolves.
