We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Support Officer to join our friendly team at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Charity!
Your main focus will be to support the senior management team with the administration and business areas in the charity team, specifically with the administration of legacies, administration and financial recording of all donations and income, CRM databases and to be responsible for the smooth processing of internal charity funding applications.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven individual who has experience in working for a charity and has a sound understanding of the fundraising landscape and how to raise substantial funds to support our local hospitals. You will thrive in a busy environment, be able to work on your own initiative and manage your workload independently.

Main duties of the job
You must have experience of charity, processing funding applications and financial processes as you'll be responsible for supporting legacy fundraising/administration, all income/donation administration and overseeing both the financial and funding administration processes.
Supporting the senior management team with:
- ensuring the correct processing of charity funding applications from submission to approval
- liaison with fund signatories, care groups and clinical areas
- supervision and support to the fundraising administrators, ensuring agreed processes are followed
- administration and recording of legacy donations and notifications
- promotion of legacies
- stewardship and cultivation programme for legacy pledgers
- CRM database management
