Job summary
We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for aBand 6Speech and Language Therapist to join our Head and Neck Oncology & ENT / Voice team.You will bepassionate about providing patient-centred care and partaking in service development.
The Speech and Language Therapy service includes regular Videofluoroscopy clinics, run jointly with the radiology department and participation in MDT Head & Neck Clinics, Joint Voice Clinics, Speech and Language Therapy-led Endoscopy and FEES clinics.
Main duties of the job
This role will involve working with inpatients and outpatients with a range of ENT / Head and Neck, Voice, and swallowing conditions.
The successful applicant willhave specialist clinical knowledge andskills in the management of dysphagia and communication difficulties and will work closely with senior members of the team to provide excellent patient care. We are an extremely supportive team and therefore this is a great opportunity for anyone looking to develop their skills within a new clinical specialism.

Base Location: Poole Hospital.The post holder will also be expected to work at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital, as part of University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust.
