Job summary
We require an enthusiastic person to work within the Medical Staffing Team in a busy Human Resources department.
You will provide a medical HR administration service for medical staff incorporating the management of the monthly junior doctors rotation administration processes and advise on all aspects of the Medical & Dental Terms and Conditions of Service and Trust policies providing guidance to medical staff and managers on the correct interpretation of these.
You will also be responsible for the timely and accurate entry of information onto our electronic staff record system and work in conjunction with the Trust payroll provider to ensure doctors are paid on time & that an efficient service is provide including dealing with queries and any pay issues.
You will also be responsible for supporting the Guardian of Safe Working with the exception reporting process in Healthrota.
Good interpersonal skills, the ability to multi-task and work to deadlines are essential for this role, as are excellent IT skills, attention to detail and a flexible approach to working. Medical staffing experience would be an advantage.
Base Location: Poole Hospital but there may be an occasional need to work on the Bournemouth site.

Main duties of the job
To provide a comprehensive range of general HR administrative support to the Medical Staffing team and medical & dental staff employed within the trust.
The post holder will be required to demonstrate excellent administration and customer service skills and have the ability to work independently, using discretion and judgement where appropriate. The post holder will act as a first point of contact for the Medical Staffing Team and provide basic HR advice on policies and procedures to medical staff within the Trust.
The post holder will be required to work on their own initiative, demonstrate a willingness to help others and be a key member of the team.
