Job summary

The cardiac centre covers Dorset, and adjacent parts of Hampshire and Wiltshire, a catchment of approx. 1 million. It provides a regional EP service and a 24/7 primary PCI service, in addition to advanced echocardiography, high-volume cardiac CT and cardiac MRI, heart failure and complex devices.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work as a clinical cardiology fellow in the department, working across acute and outpatient services. There will be opportunities for training in cardiology as per the requirements of the fellow, including echo, imaging, angiography and devices. An expanding research and clinical trials programme is in place, in which the successful candidate will be expected to participate.
