Job summary
To support the Advanced Nurse Practitioners in the management and co-ordination of care for Fast Track and colorectal cancer patients, contributing to the provision of a high standard of care within the colorectal department.
To support the Advanced Nurse Practitioners in providing an efficient secretarial service. This will involve the typing of all clinical correspondence i.e. clinic letters, reports etc.
Work within the multi-disciplinary team to ensure the efficient delivery of colorectal department.
Work with primary care, other organisations outside of the NHS and members of the general public.

- Basic computer and keyboard skills
- NVQ 3 or working towards in health and social care/customer service and administration or equivalent experience

- Previous experience of working in an acute care setting within a busy hospital environment.
- Experience of clerical duties in an office/administration environment.
