An exciting opportunity, for a committed, competent Senior Nurse with a genuine interest to work in Gastroenterology has arisen on A5/B5.
We are recruiting a Band 6 Deputy Sister/ Charge Nurse for a six month secondment. We are looking for an individual who has a flare for education, mentoring and self-learning who can provide inspirational leadership, and act as a credible role model to staff on the ward. A5 Ward is a 27 bedded acute medical ward which also encompasses B5 a 6 bedded ward, predominately specialising in caring for patients with Gastroenterology and General Medical conditions. This is a dynamic environment where the focus is to continually enhance patient care delivery; the successful candidate will be responsible for leading a fully established team to deliver quality care within the Clinical Governance Framework, working between A5 and B5
This role will include working a mixture of day shifts, weekends and nights
Please note: if this job requires you to have a DBS check to enable you to properly fulfil the requirements of the job, on appointment you will be required to repay the cost of obtaining a DBS check and this amount will be reclaimed from your salary.
