Job summary
We are pleased to announce this exciting opportunity to join a busy and expanding ITU as a Critical Care Unit technician. The technician role is at the heart of the Critical Care team, helping doctors and nurses deliver interventions to critically ill patients both inside and outside our unit. The technician role centres on the equipment and IT infrastructure essential to the delivery of care. In a wider context, the successful candidate will be involved in the retrieval and transfer of Critical Care patients.
This is a wide and varied role and with full training given. There will be opportunities to shape the role and for personal and professional development as we look forward to the merger of two Intensive Care teams into a brand new, 30 bedded Critical Care Unit nearing completion on the Royal Bournemouth site.

Base Location: Poole Hospital but cross site working may be required
