Job summary
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, motivated individuals who ideally have some Pharmacy experience, with 4 GCSEs including Maths, English and Science at Grade C/4 or above or equivalent.
The successful candidate must have good organisational and interpersonal skills, be a team player, able to work individually whilst knowing their own limitations, who is comfortable working within a large department and able to demonstrate that they are committed to a career in Pharmacy. The 2 year post will involve rotating into Dispensary, Stores & Procurement, Community Pharmacy and Ward based working.
At the end of the 2 year contract the student will be expected to have attained:Pharmacy Technician (integrated) Level: 3 (Standard) Apprenticeship
A considerable amount of additional study will be required in the student's own time. The successful candidate must have good time management skills both in and out of work due to the pressure of undertaking the qualification, and being in full time employment. A learning contract must be adhered to at all times.This post requires participation in the late night, weekend and Bank Holiday rota.
