This is an exciting and unique opportunity to work with us in Urgent and Emergency Care in UHD. A new role has arisen for a motivated Service Manager for our UTC's, to join our amazing team. This is a new role for the services, and an exciting time to join us in our Urgent Treatment Centres in both Poole and Bournemouth as we work towards our Big Move in 2025.
This role will oversee the safe transfer of the UTC's management to the acute Trust, and at a time where the Future transformation Programme starts to deliver the new BEACH build.
The ED and UTC will be having to adapt to having the new build in close proximity whilst delivering key every day services and aligning to the future models of care.

Main duties of the job
The postholder will work collaboratively with the UEC Directorates Triumvirate, Clinical Lead, Clinicians and Matrons to support the operational management of the service.
The postholder will oversee the development and delivery of the service to the acute trust and be responsible for the smooth and timely transfer of people, policy and processes.
Work collaboratively with the Transformation programme and ED team to ensure the disruption to services is limited and mitigated as much as possible.
The role involves being a budget holder where it is expected that budgets are tightly managed with a focus on innovation and cost improvement delivery.
The role will include a need to focus on effective workforce planning, performance of teams and on-going business development.
