FFP3 Fit Tester
The closing date is 16 March 2026
Job summary
We are seeking a motivated and well-organised individual to join our Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) team as an FFP3 Fit Tester. This is an important role supporting staff safety by ensuring that colleagues are correctly trained and assessed in the use of FFP3 respiratory protective equipment.
The successful candidate will deliver fit testing across a variety of Dorset HealthCare (DHC) sites using the Portacount quantitative fit testing machine. You will work closely with clinical and non-clinical staff, ensuring they are able to safely don and doff FFP3 masks and understand the principles of effective respiratory protection.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has excellent communication skills and feels confident teaching staff.
- Has strong attention to detail and is comfortable using Excel and data-entry systems.
- Can work independently across multiple sites.
- Is organised, professional, and committed to high standards of infection prevention.
- Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a car for work purposes.
Previous fit testing experience is beneficial but not essential, as training will be provided.
This role offers the opportunity to play a vital part in supporting staff safety and quality of care across the organisation. You will be joining a friendly, supportive IPC team dedicated to reducing risk and improving standards across DHC.
