Our highly regarded Dorset Steps to Wellbeing services are recruiting as we continue to expand our CBT teams in the Urban locality.
We are looking for individuals with energy, enthusiasm, and a high level of skill and experience. All staff will work as part of a team and receive regular clinical supervision. We have vacancies in East Bournemouth and the Poole area in Dorset. The successful candidate will offer a combination of face-to-face, online therapy, and group facilitation. To meet service needs, there will be an expectation to work at least one evening per week until 20:00.
The Steps 2 Wellbeing service prides itself on being innovative and is passionate about development. We promote opportunities for career development and ongoing professional development, including training in Long Term Health Conditions and other treatment modalities.
We are recruiting for both fixed term and permanent qualified High Intensity CBT Therapists for the Bournemouth and Poole area.

Main duties of the job
You will provide one-to-one and group high-intensity CBT within a stepped care model for adults with common mental health problems, including depression and a range of anxiety disorders.
Good administrative, time management, and communication skills are essential. Experience of working within the NHS or a similar organisation is highly desirable.

- Qualification from High Intensity IAPT Course [Post Graduate Diploma]
- Accreditation with appropriate professional body (HPC, BABCP).
Desirable
- Significant experience working as a psychological therapy practitioner and demonstrating the competences as required.
- A recorded/registered qualification in one of- nursing, social work, occupational therapy or a psychological therapy plus further post graduate qualification training in CBT
- A recorded/registered doctoral level qualification in clinical psychology
