Job summary

We are looking for an experienced Band 3 Administrator to join our large Pan Dorset MAS team. This Job is 4 days per week between Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm.

The successful candidate would be joining a friendly, dynamic, professional multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced admin environment based Alderney Hospital.

Main duties of the job

To schedule appointments as required for the services

Use of patients records

Liaising with patients , carers, relatives, GP's relating to appointments, care, the services and meetings.

To be able to audio type and complete letters

To be able to transcribe minutes/notes of meetings , assist in audits and surveys as and when required.

To act as a first point of telephone contact for the service, being courteous and professional at all times

To take messages and ensure safe relay to the recipient

To assist with senior administrator responsibilities including assisting with inductions and training.
