Main duties of the job

We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for you to work in the vibrant and dynamic environment of the Weymouth Urgent Treatment Centre. As part of the Dorset Integrated Urgent Care Service (DIUCS) you will play a crucial role in delivering a co-ordinated and collaborative urgent care response to the patients of Dorset, specialising in the assessment and management of minor injuries and minor ailments. We are looking for candidates that can deliver an excellent standard of patient care demonstrating a broad range of knowledge in clinical conditions and community systems.

The Weymouth Urgent Treatment Centre is central to the delivery of patient care in the local community and consistently receives positive patient feedback. The multi-disciplinary team, consisting of nurses, paramedics, skilled healthcare assistants and doctors are committed to delivering timely and efficient care as part of their partnership with DIUC's, which includes the minor injury units.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
