Job summary
The Liaison Psychiatry Team provide assessments and support to service users referred to our service by the general hospital wards.
We are looking to recruit an administrator to our team. You will be required to have excellent communicate and interpersonal skills, as day to day you will be required to interact with a number of different people, and are often the first point of call when contacting our service. In additional to customer care skills you be need to demonstrate excellent IT skills. You must be able to work accurately under pressure, whilst remaining calm, and be able to work well as part of a team. You will be working within a team of administrators who provide a comprehensive administrative service across the Poole and Bournemouth sites. The role is office based.
Employment in this post requires a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
Main duties of the job
To provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to both Liaison Psychiatry teams at Bournemouth and Poole Hospitals, to include: providing requested correspondence, referrals to service, reports, the organisation of meetings/conferences and faxing, photocopying and e-mailing services in an efficient and timely manner.
