Job summary

Come and join our friendly and supportive Facilities team as a Removal Operative, based in Poole. You will require a clean, full UK Driver's License for this role.

As the Removal Support, you will be carrying out office moves, or furniture removals.

This role is a full-time role, hours are 8am - 4pm with some flexibility required. There will be times you will be required to cover all Trust sites located across Dorset. Work vehicles are provided for work use only and will need to be returned daily to the relevant base.

This role will suit someone who enjoys variety in their daily workload, enjoys working as part of a team and able to work independently on occasions.

Communication is key to this role as the successful candidates will be interacting with a variety of staff and on occasions patients in the course of their work.

This is a physical job requiring the ability to no experience.

Full training can be provided where previous experience is not available, as we are seeking candidates with a can-do attitude.

Main duties of the job

To assist with any removal requests , ensuring the safe passage of medical devices and Trust property from one location to another. Duties may include office moves or ward refurbs. Responsible for maintaining records of items put into storage.

To be responsible for providing removals and a recycling service throughout Dorset HealthCare premises.

Employment in this post requires a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checkwhich the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
