Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for GPs interested in bank agreements with the Integrated Urgent Care Services to join our team. If you are interested in overnight mobile shifts visiting patients at their home address or shifts at the Dorchester Out of Hours Treatment Centre. The bank position is part of our Clinical Assessment & Treatment Service for Dorset's Integrated Urgent Care Service (DIUCS). This advert is for a bank agreement only and shifts available will be advertised to successful applicants. This is an exciting time to join the Integrated Urgent Care Service which brings together services and professionals from a variety of urgent care settings.
This is an opportunity to build, consolidate and develop your knowledge and expertise within our urgent care service. You must be able to maintain high standards of professional care and practice and be able to demonstrate excellent team work, including good communication and leadership skills.
Main duties of the job
To cover bank shifts at the following sites:-
St Leonards overnight mobile shifts (visiting patients at their home address, care homes or community hospitals)
Dorchester overnight mobile shifts (visiting patients at their home address, care homes or community hospitals)
Dorchester Out of Hours Treatment Centre (based at Dorset County Hospital) a variety of shifts at weekends and evening shifts between 1900-2300
