Ward based in Glendinning Unit in Dorchester.
Nationally it has been recognised that rehabilitation is an area that has often been overlooked for investment and modernisation. This includes a brand new dedicated pan Dorset Community based Rehabilitation Team.

This will be a flagship service enabling Dorset HealthCare to become one of the best rehabilitation services across the country.
Glendinning Unit is a mixed gender 9 bedded unit based at Maiden Castle in Dorchester close to the town centre.
The inpatient teams work closely with our newly established Community Rehab Teams to provide a seamless transition from inpatient into the community, ensuring the patient is supported on this stage of their recovery journey.
