Job summary
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, proactive, dynamic, motivated, confident and flexible individual to join our expert eRostering Team.
You will be very self-motivated, be able to work at a fast pace, able to deal with issues independently and effectively. You will also be the first point of contact with users for advice, guidance, support and training on all aspects of eRostering.
You will have an understanding of the staffing issues and working patterns that affect complex multidisciplinary teams in the NHS, and the intricacies involved in planning shift work.
You will have excellent IT and interpersonal skills, be highly organised with excellent attention to detail, have a flexible approach to work and also enjoy working as part of a team within a demanding and busy environment. You will have an understanding of the clinical environment and be able to advise on methods of improving rostering practices for all staff groups that will benefit patients and drive out financial savings. You will be a great communicator and be well organised and able to work to deadlines.
Strong computer skills and experience of analysing and interpreting information is also essential.

Main duties of the job
To lead the provision of a full range of flexible, responsive ERoster services, establishing and maintaining effective lines of communication with managers and employees.
To manage the activities of the eRoster office on a daily basis, providing support, advice, guidance, and line management to the ERoster System Administrators and Trainers and eRoster Support Administrators, advising the ERoster Project Manager of workload and training issues as appropriate.
To effectively manage departmental workload peaks and be responsible for forward planning to ensure continuity of all services during eRoster employees' annual leave and sickness absence, keeping the Professional Lead informed as required.
To identify anomalies/queries arising from documentation and/or verbal requests, liaising with line managers accordingly. To resolve queries referred by the eRoster Team and Unit Managers, advising the originating person of the outcome.
Responsible for the whole eRoster Support process across the Trust for all eRoster system users.
