Job summary

  • The Trust are looking for flexible, hardworking, and enthusiastic individuals to support the delivery and implementation of the Trust Outpatient Electronic Prescribing system (CLEO SOLO) during the Go Live period.
  • This role includes Line Management of Project Implementation Support Officers.
  • There will be a 12 month roll out period throughout the Trust's outpatient clinics for Dorset which requires repeated deployments to new services.
  • This is a fixed term role and for those with current NHS service, the role will be offered on a secondment basis only. Please obtain permission to be released on a secondment before submitting an application.

Main duties of the job

  • To Line Manage a team of Project Implementation Support Officers.
  • To test the CLEO SOLO prescribing system alongside the Digital Medicines Team
  • To assist to create the Training Package and Deployment of CLEO SOLO
  • To provide support and coaching in the use of CLEO SOLO during implementation and following Go-Live for prescribers.
  • To assist in the deployment of medicines and pharmacy technology in line with Trust strategy, and national guidance.
  • To support the best use of information technology.
  • Help to problem solve, and to direct and cascade enquiries/issues/outcomes in relation to CLEO SOLO
  • To participate in audits pre and post-implementation

  • Specialist knowledge in deploying in an IT project or pharmacy environment, underpinned by theory Knowledge of delivering projects in healthcare, acquired through degree or equivalent experience or training, plus further staff or project management knowledge to post graduate diploma level equivalent
  • Experience of training others in the practical use of IT systems
  • IT, audio, and visual equipment literate
  • Relevant training experience with significant experience of deploying projects in clinical environments, across more than one setting.

Desirable

  • Specific knowledge of CLEO SOLO
