Offered on a full time, fixed term basis, there are vacancies across the following community teams: Bournemouth and Christchurch, Poole, North-East, Weymouth & Portland and West Dorset. This post will offer a central source of support for Children, Young People and their families who need longer term help from the community teams. You will offer wellbeing support for CYP as part of the first phase of help provided to ensure that CYP do not wait for any length of time without any help. You will provide focused help to promote self-management, self-awareness and community engagement for families, and support the review process where needs may be escalating. You will work under the close supervision of a Clinical Psychologist and work as a core part of the wider MDT.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.

Opportunities for clinical supervision, training and development are available as well as involvement in CAMHS transformation.
