This is a full time role of 37.5 hours per week. The post holder may be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.

Main duties of the job

As an HR Advisory Team Administrator, you will be involved in the following:

  • Administrative Support: provide admin support to a busy HR team, including scheduling meetings, maintaining HR records and organising files.
  • Employee Relations: Handle HR-related enquiries, assisting staff and managers with general HR questions and directing them to the appropriate resources.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate HR data, generate reports, and assist with HR analytics.
  • Compliance: Assist in ensuring HR policies and procedures are followed in accordance with Trust and legal requirements.
  • Training and Development: Participate in HR training programmes to stay updated on employment legislation and best practice.

  • An ability to manage complex diary arrangements, including resolving conflicting commitments

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING

Essential

  • Educated to GCSE level 4 English and Maths or equivalent
  • Diploma in Business Administration or Certificate in Personnel Practice or equivalent knowledge gained through practical experience.

Desirable

  • CIPD professional qualification or part qualified.

JOB SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE

Essential

  • Keyboard skill/data inputting skills
  • Recent experience of note taking for complex formal meetings ensuring a high degree of accuracy and comprehensiveness.
  • Ability and confidence to deal with people effectively and confidentially
  • Evidence of effective communication skills - verbal and written
  • Evidence of good organisational skills and an ability to work flexibly and under pressure, to multi-task and to influence and negotiate with team over priority of work
