We are able to offer an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic staff nurse with a genuine interest in the health and wellbeing of children and their families. The successful candidate will also have an interest in the Key Public Health agendas.

Working corporately, the successful candidate will be a flexible team player and a role model who is able to demonstrate a willingness to support the health visitors to deliver the Healthy Child Programme..

Main duties of the job
To provide a high quality person centred approach to care delivery whichalways considers people's safety, privacy and dignity.
To undertake assessment of patients / service users care needs and develop programmes of care as part of the wider multidisciplinary care team.
To provide advice to patients/ service users and carers regarding their care.
To plan, implement and review health improvement programmes in a range of settings including people's homes.
Provide supervision, mentorship, and clinical support to students and junior staff in the team.

- Registered practitioner to degree/diploma level
- Membership of the relevant Professional Body
- Learning and Assessing in Practice Qualification or equivalent practice assessors training
- Evidence of recent professional development in an up to date portfolio

- Clear understanding of the national children's agenda and key public health policy drivers
