We are looking for a health care assistant who will provide a person centred approach, advice and encouragement in order to help an individual who has a mild learning disability, autism and a personality disorder who lives in their own home in the Poole Area. You will work alongside a colleague as the individual would need support from 2 staff with their activities during the shift.
In a health care assistant role shift work will be required, extra hours could also be available. The shifts are:
Sleep In shifts 18.00 -22.30 where you sleep then work 7.30 -8.30 and
This role includes an hourly rate for waking hours at Band 3 and a sleep in payment of week days £50 and weekends £60.
The health care assistant rotas are on a 2 week set patterns, we have part time and full time hours available.

Main duties of the job
Dorset Healthcare University NHS Foundation Trust Domiciliary Care Agency provides person-centred support to service users in their own home.
As a health care assistant, you will be part of a team of support workers who provide person centred care and support to individual service users which will enable and empower them to live within their own home. You will provide the agreed support outlined in the individual person centred care plan to meet their physical, social, emotional and personal care needs.
