Job summary

A domestic cleaning vacancy has arisen within our Facilities team. This position is at 30 Maiden Castle Road, Dorchester, Dorset.

The cleaning role includes cleaning within the Ward inpatient area and across other areas of the hospital as needed.

This position is for 20 hours per week which will include working every other weekend, which attracts a higher rate of pay.

The proposed shift times are 07:00-14:30 every Thursday and Friday & 07:00-13:30 every other weekend, this includes a half an hour unpaid lunch break

No previous cleaning experience is required as full training is provided, please do include relevant details of what skills you have that you can bring to the team.

Main duties of the job

To support the Facilities Manager in their role to ensure that the standard of cleanliness within the Trust is implemented andmaintained.

Main duties include vacuuming, mopping, general cleaning/damp dusting, cleaning bathrooms, toilets, emptying bins, use of floor cleaning machines.

The roles involves working as a team, with a flexible approach, good communication skills and the ability to use your own initiative.

With an opportunity to work extra hours as able to cover sickness and staff holidays.

Good rates of pay, a generous annual leave allowance per year plus Bank Holiday and weekend enhancements.
