Job summary

We want the best to join our high performing, friendly Business Analyst Team!

As a Business Analyst you will work as part of a unique team spanning corporate and operational services who are responsible for monitoring, reporting and supporting clinical services to deliver multi-million pound contracts. A degree of business acumen is desired but not essential, as training will be given, however the ideal candidate should possess an in depth knowledge of using and interpreting data to identify efficiencies using forecasting, population health and predictive analysis.

This role plays a major part in ensuring a high level of data quality is achieved and performance information is available for services to understand how they are performing to affect change.

A flair for accuracy and attention to detail, numbers, patterns and trends as well as people skills are essential to take forward changes in line with the principles of performance monitoring.

Excellent communication skills are a must as well as a sense of humour and flexible approach enabling you to engage with services.

Main duties of the job

To deliver a high standard of business and project support to senior colleagues and assist the management team with the implementation of service improvements and developments across the Trust.

The post holder will be responsible for maintaining information systems to analyse and process a range of data. This will include the interpretation and monitoring of information from multiple Trust systems to comply with contracts and service standards/improvements.

Working closely with clinical staff, to support efficient operational practice contributing to the achievement of key performance indicator, activity and compliance targets. The post holder will support the culture change associated with new and changing targets, providing feedback and information to senior management and clinical teams.

Assist in the development of project documentation and present materials to groups of people, including clinical and non-clinical staff at all levels

Co-ordinate and manage initiatives and action plans.

To organise and manage workload on a day-to-day basis to meet competing demands and deadlines.

To ensure data quality is maintained using validation data validation and audit across manual reporting areas, working with operational services and Information analysts to automate as soon as possible.
