Working with the Clinical Lead, the post holder will be ensuring the delivery of care to a consistently high standard, following policies and procedures.
The post holder will be assisting the Clinical Lead in maintaining the efficiency of the Day Surgery Unit including Ward, Recovery and Pre Assessment, developing a team and monitoring quality standards. Day Surgery ward duties may be required.

Wimborne Day Surgery Unit welcomes applications from Registered Theatre Practitioners and Registered Nurses to join our friendly team. This is a part-time post 20 hours per week. The unit is currently open from Monday - Friday from 07.00am - 20.00pm hours.
This post is for an experienced surgical nurse to join our team to work on the Day Surgery Ward, admitting patients and caring for them during their recovery period until they are ready to be discharged home.
Within the role there will be a requirement to work at other sites within the organisation and at University Hospitals Dorset.
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
